Mulled cider or wine is a perfect drink for those cold winter nights by the fire. Or as a treat after coming in after a long ski or skating adventure. And our Mulling Spice Blend is a quick and easy way to make either at home.

Mulling

Cider, Wine or Ale

It's all essentially the same, warm your beverage with some of our Mulling Spice Blend - either the Whole Spice or the ground version - and then serve in cups. You can extras like brown sugar or honey to sweeten the mix.

Add some Fresh orange or apple slices for garnish or in the pot. And a cinnamon stick to twirl. Even a nice sprig of rosemary if you are into a little extra intrigue in your flavours.

You can even add a splash of brandy, calvados or fruit-sweetened brandy - Grand Marnier or apricot - to give it a little extra kick before serving

Try Something New

We've been using our ground Mulling Spice Blend to make a mulled apple coffee cake which is fantastic!

Winter in a Mug

The mulling spices are amazing! I tried them in red wine, apple juice and pear juice. Next time I will try them in cranberry juice. This is a terrific options for those who don't drink wine. The spice adds a coziness to your hot beverage and I would highly recommend this spice. Sooooo delicious!

  • Spice Storage

Spices, rubs and spice blends, should be stored in a dry, cool, dark place and used quickly to get the most flavour from them.

Ground spices typically lose their freshness and are often past their peak in 6 months.
