Tourtière is a classic French Canadian meat pie, traditionally served during the Christmas season and on New Year's Eve. While there are many meat pies out there, our Tourtière has deep roots in Eastern Canada, making it a beloved dish for generations.
Family Recipe, Handcrafted with Local Ingredients
This isn’t your typical mass-produced meat pie. Each Tourtière begins with Lex’s handcrafted filling, made from her family recipe and spiced with her custom blend. Using locally-sourced Ontario ground pork, beef, and hand-minced potatoes and onions, Lex creates the perfect filling. Then, Deb and Dom from The Measuring Spoon take over, wrapping it all in their expertly crafted, flaky pastry. The result is an artisanal meat pie, frozen and unbaked, ready to be enjoyed fresh from your oven whenever you’re ready.
