After years of working on this blend to get it just right, we finally got it to restaurant-quality Butter Chicken. You can use it on the stovetop or in an Instant Pot for a quicker meal. Both turn out a great dish.

This blend does require some additional ingredients over and above the chicken, but we do our best to make it as easy as possible. And that's pretty easy!
And don't worry, we will send you the ingredient list required and include instructions for both traditional and Instant Pot options. The Instant Pot version will be a little wetter but don't worry, you'll fix that at the end by adding more butter and cream!

VERY flavourful and the recipe Lex provides with the spice mix is beyond easy with everyday ingredients. We loved it! Enjoyed it even more as leftovers...the flavours just continue to intensify and SATISFY:) Already ordered more!
This reminds me of the local Indian restaurant in my area. It's inspired me to do Indian dishes. I use this for butter chicken and any dish with rice and meat!! So good!!! It's up there with their shakshuka blend for me!! Can't wait to try this in a dip!!
This butter masala spice blend blew me away. It’s completely dairy-free, yet it delivers the same rich, velvety flavour you’d expect from the traditional version. I marinate my chicken overnight in these spices + some coconut yogurt and olive oil and it tastes just as good, and honestly, even cleaner. It’s hard to find blends that fit my diet without sacrificing flavour, but this one is a total win.
We made the recipe on this site for this spice mix. The result tasted like butter masala chicken we’ve had from some restaurants! We preferred the “spicy” version but it wasn’t quite spicy enough for us so we added a little cayenne.
Next time we’re going to use this spice mix in place of the spices in one of our own recipes. It’ll save some time and I know it will be tasty tasty.
